Bio

Kat began her love affair with yoga in 2006 while working in Westchester County, NY. It was not love at first sight, more like an affair. Over time, Kat's fling with yoga evolved into a dedicated relationship. She learned how to really come in tune with her body, and suddenly yoga was no longer just a physical practice; it was mental as well. Once this mental aspect grew to become WAY more important than the physical, she wanted to spread this knowledge and started to encourage all around her to give it a try.

In December 2014, Kat moved to Hawaii with plans on becoming a teacher in the yoga world, since she was making this big life change anyway. In hunt of her next "home" studio, she stumbled upon YOGA4EWA and knew she found a special place. It's here that she became enthralled with the Ashtanga practice. Kat received her 200hr Teacher Training certificate in 2015 under the guidance of Tasha Kauihou at YOGA4EWA in Ewa Beach, HI with an Ashtanga and Vinyasa emphasis. Kat continues to practice daily and would love to share with you the confidence, inspiration, peace, and joy yoga gives her mind, even if it's just for a little while. She enjoys teaching Power Vinyasa and Ashtanga-based Vinyasa Flows. Just move with your breath, do what you can, and remember... It's just yoga.
