Phoebe’s classes focus on the importance of alignment, breath, and mindfulness.

Bio

Phoebe comes from a strong movement background.  She received her BFA in Modern Dance from the University of the Arts in Philadelphia, where she studied technique, anatomy, kinesiology and pedagogy.  As a professional dancer in New York City, she earned her 500-hour certification (ERYT-500) from YogaWorks & Restorative / Therapeutics training with Jillian Pransky.  Teaching at various studios / programs in New York City since 2002, Phoebe made the move to the Hudson Valley in 2010.  In 2014, she founds nOMad always at OM that brings new experiences on and off the mat to yogis.  Phoebe’s classes focus on the importance of alignment, breath, and mindfulness.  She demonstrates that with practice, patience, courage, and compassion, yoga can open a world of greater possibilities and deepen the connection to one’s core being.
