This unique, community building class is designed to support new mothers through the practice of yoga - one case at a time and one breath at a time.
For new mothers who are at least 6-8 weeks postpartum and their pre-crawling babies. Each class will include yoga asana designed to rejuvenate the body after childbirth, pranayama and meditation to help promote mindful parenting, and interactions with baby to promote bonding experience. Special attention will be paid to reconnecting with the body in a safe, supportive, and positive way after the experience of pregnancy and childbirth. Babies will also benefit from the warm and nurturing environment of the yoga space.
Tending to babies is a normal part of class. You are welcome to feed and diaper your little one as needed. Bring a blanket for baby. Please speak with your doctor or midwife before beginning your postnatal practice.
