Yoga Nidra is one of the most effective techniques for unleashing the power of your deep unconscious that does not require years of practice or deep study to inure the benefits. The literal translation of Nidra is sleep. Yoga Nidra is not the unconscious sleep of night time but rather a dynamic state that combines alert awareness and deep relaxation. Beginners walk away feeling relaxed, rejuvenated and renewed. Over time, Yoga Nidra also empowers you to eliminate unconscious obstructions and energetic blocks that prevent you from living your life to the fullest. When tapped into, this state of oneness, opens to creative powers beyond the ego-mind and to healing on a physical, mental and emotional plane. Much of this class will be on the floor with little to no movement, wear comfortable clothes and keep warm as stillness can cool the body temperature. No experience is required, everyone is welcome.
Gentle Yoga & Meditation
This class is an introduction to meditation. We will start practicing simple yoga postures and restorative poses before moving into meditation. We will move through different meditation techniques week to week, which will provide you with the tools to bring a meditation practice into your daily, hectic lives.
