This workshop will address different ways to meditate and learn how to integrate mindfulness techniques into your day to complement your daily meditation practice. In this workshop, Andy will teach:
– How meditation helps manage daily stress
– How we developed our patterns of behavior
– Why those patterns are so difficult to break
– The impact of your past and how it is directing your future
– Five signs of a successful meditation
– How to meditate (15 minute guided meditation)
– Expectations and 4 signs you’re doing it right
For nearly a decade, Andy Kelley has helped ordinary people like himself learn to slow down and recharge through meditation. He prides himself in being a “regular guy” that reaches an audience that might not otherwise be inclined to meditate. Andy is a certified meditation instructor for The Chopra Center and he studied under Dr. Deepak Chopra and Dr. David Simon, co-founders of The Chopra Center. He is also a graduate of the Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction Program (MBSR) founded by Jon Kabat-Zinn at The Center for Mindfulness at Mass Medical School.
